Review: This season was way better than season 1 and I loved that when it aired.
Joe or Will is just as sadistic and creepy as ever with an new attachment to feast his eyes and fascination onto. Love Quinn a beautiful, rich, talented chef/baker who lured him in instantly. With his new identity to hide from Candace and in his mind he is a new man that won’t do the same stalker things he used to do, feeling he is going to do this relationship right.
It’s a very creative way they made this series, you honestly fall for their trap that yes different that he hasn’t done what he’s done before, that he is a better man and not going to harm his new interest. Oh why did they convince you of that? He’s a bad man, he’s a stalker and a murderer and a con artist seriously you fall into the trap but you shouldn’t.
From the second we see Love in the store I knew she was like him, she just came across like him right away. I actually while in the trap that Joe isn’t bad anymore thought she’s stalking him and making him fall for her, making him do this, she’s a bad one. So when it was revealed at the end she was a murderer just like him, that she was dark and twisted inside as he was, it didn’t shock me in the slightest as it was obvious to me.
Candace arriving honestly annoyed me, she’s such an irritating character and couldn’t wait for her to be gone. I get the point of her she was coming to stir everything up and mess with a Joe but still I didn’t really care for her.
Forty what a messed up up dude, though he kept getting in Joe’s way they were actually good friends and I liked that Loves brother kept being their adding curve balls to what would usually be a simple relationship for Joe, he actually had to work harder at all his evil and creepy things.
The real Will in the storage locker box was awesome, he didn’t really act like Joe’s previous captives probably as he needed his meds but still he was a good addition to the start of the show. It left Joe to have even more curve balls and obstacles and lead him to a whole other mission to help his neighbours.
I really enjoyed this season, it was made in a much better way than season one with much better characters who had layers and issues. You got so many twists and turns, secrets you can unlock and it was made so well.
I’m really looking forward to season 3, seeing what the suburban neighbour Joe is stalking will be like and how is Love going to handle that whole situation, will be interesting.
