Movie Summary: Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang embark on a road trip with Bonnie and a new toy named Forky. The adventurous journey turns into an unexpected reunion as Woody’s slight detour leads him to his long-lost friend Bo Peep. As Woody and Bo discuss the old days, they soon start to realize that they’re two worlds apart when it comes to what they want from life as a toy

When a new toy called “Forky” joins Woody and the gang, a road trip alongside old and new friends reveals how big the world can be for a toy.

Review: I really didn’t think that I was going to enjoy this movie at all, the trailers made it look so bad with the heavy focus on Forky, luckily the story actually wasn’t fully about him and it was a really beautiful well made movie.

I really enjoyed the new characters that we got to meet, Gabby Gabby though slightly evil was actually one of my favourite additions she was just sad and lonely she wanted to be played with and loved. The scene where she helps the lost little girl have that love she always wanted to share actually makes me cry it was the best scene in the movie.

I loved that Woody had an adventure and had to really rethink all of his usual morals, everything he usually believed in Bo made him re-consider them. I hated so badly though how Bonnie was treating Woody she wasn’t even suppose to have him as Andy wanted him at college with him and then she treats him so rudely. I think that this adventure he went on to save Forky and make Bonnie happy was just what he needed, he needed a fresh start and living a different life for a toy. He never even thought there was a life outside of being there for a child and soon realised there was a huge world out there for a toy.

I was a little disappointed in the lack of the original toys they only had a very minor part in the movie and usually on the adventures we see a lot more of them but there’s only so much time in a movie and a lot of characters, so I totally get them being a small role, but it’s still sad.

It had so many sad moments in this movie and I’m still shocked that it was a beautiful and good movie, we got a new adventure, a reunion with old friends and met some new ones on the way. It was honestly really good and a perfect addition to the franchise I loved it.
