Movie Summary: The Clock family are four-inch-tall people who live anonymously in another family’s residence, borrowing simple items to make their home. Life changes for the Clocks when their teenage daughter, Arrietty, is discovered.

Review: This was amazing, I loved this movie so much. What an inventive idea to have little people living in the house and taking only what they needed.

Arrietty was so beautiful and couldn’t understand that the boy was a threat to them, I loved that she kept going near him trying to understand it all and that they became closer.

I thought it was really sad though that her parents were constantly so afraid, the doll house the boys mother made was for the little people that lived there but they never found out. The dad was always in fear of being seen and as soon as they were he moved on, even though they could have had a good life in that house. It was so sad.

The movie was really good and was made so well, it had such a heart too it, the unlikely friendship, the boys tough life and just how everything turned out it was so beautifully made and I enjoyed it so much. I also think so far this is my favourite of the studio Ghibli movies I’ve watched.
