Summary: A heart-felt Bible story about Miriam watching over her baby brother, who would later become Moses, the leader of a nation. Her quick thinking when the Pharaoh’s daughter pulls the basket he is in out of the River Nile saves his life. Maybe being a big sister to a baby isn’t so bad!
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Lion Hudson Ltd for the e-arc copy to read and review.
Review: This was just precious, it was such a sweet and beautiful story. The illustrations was so vibrant and beautiful and the story told in such a nice way.
I love that the story was told more from Miriam’s side. Albert the mouse wanted to help the field mouse feel better so told of the great bravery of Miriam, Moses big sister and how she was small but had to do a very big thing.
I really enjoyed getting to read this and reading the story of baby Moses in a different perspective. I loved all the illustrations and I love how easy this story is for children to understand. It’s a perfect biblical book for young children.
