Review: This was adorable twins Agatha and Christie couldn’t be more different in personality but both have a shared interest in solving mysteries. When Aggie is invited by their elderly neighbour to meet her idol Sir Conan Doyle, she is so excited, but at the tea party a crime occurs, giving her a mystery that she needs to solve so she recruits her sister to help solve it before it’s too late.
I adored these girls they were so precious and such incredibly well created characters. I loved the simplicity of the crime, I loved that it had such a fun lesson throughout, I loved solving it with them not knowing who was the culprit or why.
The illustrations oh my goodness there are no words to describe how much I loved Roberta Tedeschi illustrations. I was perfectly set back in the 1920’s whilst reading because of her incredible talent, the clothes, the hair styles, the houses, the rooms oh my goodness it was wondrous and beautiful and honestly made this book even better than it already is.
This is such a great book and I know it will be loved by so many kids when they start reading and are enjoying solving this mystery with Agatha and Christie. I look forward to venturing with these girls again on a new mystery as I loved this one.
