Synopsis: Ethan and Matt are looking forward to having a break from solving mysteries and spending time at basketball camp for a week. But as they arrive, they find out about an incident at a basketball game at their camp the week before. The police think it’s just an accident.
Settling into camp routine, the boys find out about the big rivalry between the two local basketball teams. Their suspicions are aroused when weird accidents at their camp keep happening. Review: What should have been a fun relaxing simple stay at basketball summer camp turns into a investigation as crimes and accidents keep occurring to the players with no idea why.
I really enjoyed the mystery in this book, it was subtle and blended really perfectly with the boys enjoying their summer camp experience at the same time. I liked that the mystery kept giving you twists to solve who was doing it all.
I really liked that even though Lisa wasn’t a major part of the story she was still included and actually helped out a lot when it mattered most to the story. The boys were a lot more likeable in this book in comparison to how I felt about them in the first two, so that’s great.
This is a really fun mystery series and this book was a great addition to it. It’s a series that would be really enjoyed by kids, you not only go on actual fun adventures but you get a thrilling mystery to go with it. I do recommend this series to anyone that loves an interesting mystery adventure.
