Summery: Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. However, when sinister monsters known as the Druun threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, those same monsters have returned, and it’s up to a lone warrior to track down the last dragon and stop the Druun for good.

As a child Raya is taught to protect the magic orb, the protector of the kingdom, the last dragon gift and the only thing to keep the Druun out. Then she trusts the wrong person and the kingdoms are divided for good each one taking a piece of the orb letting the Drunn in. Raya never stopped trying to fix all that went wrong and her search to find the last dragon.

This movie is epic, I love all the action, all the adventure, I love the characters, the different colonies, the funny dragon Sisu and I love the deeper storyline too of what trust can really look like. It’s such a unusual movie, but it works and I really love it.

Raya was such a powerful and fierce character, strong determination and a strength that you don’t see too often. After everything had gone wrong she didn’t stop and give in she fought and searched and knew if she kept pushing that things could be better. I really loved her resilience.

I loved all the characters we met throughout the adventure the con baby and monkeys were adorable and hilarious, the dragon Sisu was awesome and wow the animation of them was stunning. I really liked the tense relationship with Raya and Namari always battling each other they had such incredible chemistry.

This had so much action throughout from each of the colonies having a booby trap, to the fight scenes it was so much fun to watch. There was always something happening and it was so much fun. It also had a pretty sad story underlining it though with the Drunn taking over, the family loss of so many and the trust issues for fear betrayal.

There was a lot in this movie and so I can totally understand it not being a movie loved by lots of people but for me this is one of my favourite Disney movies, I loved the storyline, I loved the characters, I loved all the action and oh gosh I loved TukTuk he’s the cutest. This movie was so creative and incredibly unique, yes there are so many elements to it but I enjoyed them all.
