Review:
What a breath taking beautifully movie. I loved this story of a young girl being so free and brave, she would do anything if it meant saving another being. I loved the friendship she made, I loved the friendship with Spirit she made it was all so beautiful. I loved that she had to overcome so much and grow as the horse too had to grow and overcome its fears.
The story was a bit scary and very sad, with the evil poachers trying to take the horses and with her mom being dead but I loved that even through these things we had a wonderful protagonist who was strong and brave, she never gave up in what she believed in and in the kindness within her heart.
The animation was so beautiful and what gorgeous horses they were, they made them so realistic and beautiful. I love wild horses and this movie created them so well and even gave them the essence and personality of wild horses. Each one being so unique and different, some being funny, some timid, some aggressive, the whole wild horse family were just beautiful.
I would say that this could be a bit scary for younger children in places but it is stunning and so worth watching with the beautiful horses, a wonderful determined, kind and brave protagonist, the friendships she makes with humans and the horses is so delicately written. This movie is a must watch in my opinion it was so beautifully, craftily made and the whole thing is incredible and beautiful.
