Review:
A young boy befriends a young girl and they have the best adventures together until she moves away, then as adults he never forgot her and as a mysterious teapot is given to him he unlocked a pink dragon who can grant his wishes. As he tries to get his best friend back and with the help of the dragon add in some enemies on the way they have an adventure.
What as beautiful movie seriously this movie had so much heart it was just beautiful, he simply loved and missed his best friend and wanted her back. The dragon was so funny and he just simply wanted to learn what the world was like and hadn’t ever had the opportunity to learn or explore it ever.
I loved all the multiple relationships in this with Din and his Mother, Din and Long and Din and Lina. They all had such a purpose and were really sweet and they all grew through the movie. Over time they got their dreams come true not necessarily needing the wishes to give them what wanted from their hearts.
I loved the action scenes with the enemies chasing them, that was so fun and so very random too. This movies animation was really good and I really liked the fur on the dragon it was so pretty, I love fur animation in movies it’s mesmerising that it can look like that. It’s so clever and beautiful that these talented animators can make fur look so realistic in how it moves and looks.
I do recommend this movie if you haven’t seen it yet, it’s got so much to offer from really great characters, to a pink magic dragon, old gods, evil enemies that want something that isn’t theirs, puppies and a life long friendship that even time couldn’t destroy. It’s so beautiful, such a great escape and so cleverly made.
