Review: This was really cute, I loved all the illustrations throughout the book they were really pretty. I loved the inclusivity of a deaf character was so nice to see. I loved the friendship Finn, Mia and Lottie had.
In this book Lottie finds her Gam Gam’s old suitcase which shares the stories of all her past adventures, this makes Lottie and her friends want to do the same and to the Harley woods they go to find the beast of the woods, following all the tracks they can find.
I really liked how the story unfolded and that were being clever in how they found the beast not wanting to get too close or scare it away. I also liked how when they figure what it was they wanted to preserve it and keep it save.
This is a really fun easy mystery with lots of adventure, three great friends and a mystery beast in the woods. It’s a great book for younger children, who will really enjoy trying to solve it and will also love Biscuit Lottie’s cute dog.
