Review:

I love the my little pony franchise and I hadn’t seen the Equestria girls movies for years so I had to do a rewatch of them all and I loved it just as much, so thought I’d review them too.

Twilight Sparkle has just been granted a Princess by Princess Celestia and is struggling to cope with the changes of being an alicorn. Then suddenly a pony sneaks in and steals her crown and goes through a portal. Twilight must enter the portal so she can retrieve the crown and stop the thieving pony. Only it takes her into an alternate universe and she’s no longer a pony but a girl and has to learn to live there and stop the thief to retrieve her crown.

I love seeing this alternate universe of the ponies as girls, they are creatively made as you can identify who each one is still. Twilight comes into this world having no clue at all what’s she’s doing or how they live but still manages to make her friends back and fix friendship issues throughout the whole school.

Sunset Shimmer the villain of the story was mostly a misunderstood teen that didn’t know how to have friends and wanted power and magic above anything else. She was a really great character though and her side kicks Snips and Snails there to help her at every step, causing chaos.

The music in the movie is really catchy and so much fun to listen too. It was funny in lots of places, the characters were all so perfectly created and it’s a really great alternate version of my little pony.
