Review:
Three banished sirens see Equestrian magic and want it for themselves taking them to the school. The school is about to do a showcase on the best bands in the school. Sunset Shimmer is still struggling to fit in and adjust now she’s no longer evil. They summon Twilight back from the pony verse as they need her help to stop the sirens, but nothing works and the whole school erupts into fighting, exactly what the sirens wanted.
The sirens are really interesting villains, with really great songs that draw you in. I like how evil and manipulative they are, how they get the entire school under their every whim they are really fun villains.
Twilight comes into their world but doesn’t really have a purpose being there this time, she cannot work the magic in the realm and isn’t able to come up with a way to stop the sirens. The girls are all constantly bickering and fighting with each other even with out the sirens impact.
The music is catchy and little more rocky In this one and we have Trixie playing a big part too which is awesome I love Trixie. I love the battle off scene its epic with the magic swapping between the two groups.
*SPOILER* I also love that at the end credits we get a hint to the next one and meet the Twilight from that realm. It makes it so exciting for the next movie having it end that way.
