Review:

This small series is really fun you get a great additional look into the girls lives, plus you get to see new characters and a character brought back that has been forgotten within this series. We have a new villain and make new old friends.

I really enjoyed watching them and just wish we had more to this particular series, rather than just three really good episodes.

Dance Magic

A continuation of camp Everfree after the camp had been destroyed. The girls now are all trying to raise enough funds to fix it. Rarity finds a great way to fundraise but it isn’t all going to plan.

I loved that we saw the Crystal Prep girls again, it made the whole episode even more fun having their story finished and seeing their character development and friendship with the main girls.

Rarity’s plan to create the dances for the competition were really creative and I loved that she had such a strong passion for what she was trying to do. It was also great that she branched out when things went completely wrong, it made her creativity spark even more.

Movie Magic

The girls are all on set of the new Daring Dew movie being shot, but the lead actress is a diva and things keep collapsing or going missing and the girls try to figure out what is going on to save the movie.

This was probably my least favourite out of the three but it was still really good. Juniper was a really interesting addition to the series. I liked that we got to see the Daring Dew world within this world and that Rainbow was just as intense about it as she is as a pony.

We got to see the girls in the power ponies costumes which was so much fun. There was a lot of action within this one and it had an interesting mystery element to it also.

Mirror Magic

Squee Starlight Glimmer was in this and we got to see her as a girl and she was perfection and I love her she’s another of my ultimate favourites and seeing her in this was perfection. She was such a perfect inclusion and being able to be the one to solve the villain problems and save the girls was honestly just what I needed. I cannot get over how much I loved this episode purely because we got Starlight, I also loved her friendship with Sunset.

Juniper is still angry after the girls destroyed her life and dreams so now wants to get payback on them. She finds a mirror that shows her a glamorous alternate version of herself and she uses the power to get everything she wanted.

This was really fun, it has a great villain, it had great characters included. I loved that we saw another glimpse of the magic being shown and what evil that it can do when given to those in this world.

I really enjoyed these three episodes they were such a great addition and were so much fun to watch, they really do add so much to this extended world that we’ve already seen in the movies.
