Review:
Jeronicus Jangle loses his greatest invention and becomes so depressed and loses his magic spark. Years later his granddaughter Journey surprises him showing up, she finds an old invention and brings it life. Gustafson the man that stole everything wants it as he is out of stolen inventions. Journey won’t let him have it, and knows her grandpa has the magic inside still he just has to believe.
A masterpiece of a movie really, it’s so magical, beautiful, the songs and choreography are incredible. All the choreography was beautiful and really reminded me of greatest showman in the style. It was so beautiful to watch and everyone was so talented. Even the song style was actually similar, they are all such great songs and sang so beautifully.
I absolutely loved the deep rooted storyline of this wonderful master of an inventor and his magic touch that he passed down to his daughter and granddaughter, it was so beautiful seeing them connecting together. Seeing all the magic that they did come alive was such a sight, so stunning. I really liked that he struggled to accept his granddaughter due to his past being so depressing for him, but over time he couldn’t resist caring for and loving her and that was wonderful.
I loved all the inventions that were made they were so whimsical and magical. Buddy was adorable and such a funny little robot and it was so sweet that with belief anything can happen, what a sweet message one little robot could put out there.
The acting in this movie was wonderful everyone was so talented and you couldn’t fault them. I adored Journey what an incredible character she was, she was so determined to invent with her grandpa, to create something so magical. She had all the magic in her and had to bring it out of him, she had so much belief within herself. She was also such an incredible singer loved her song so beautiful.
I really loved the magic of this movie and the heart of it, i was swept away by the whole thing, it was so beautiful and magical. If you’ve not seen this yet you need too.
The whole time watching It really made me think that this should be on stage, I can see practically everything from this movie on a musical theatre stage and it being as beautiful and breathtaking to watch. Seeing all the inventions coming alive, the magic before your eyes. It would be just as magical as this movie was I’m certain.
