Review:

Gloria goes to America to look after her recently widowed grandpa who got hurt in a car collision with a reindeer. The two form a strong bond after Prancer the reindeer gives them something to connect with. His son who believes he has gone insane is desperate to sell his land, kill the reindeer and send him away to an elderly home.

This was actually really pretty, I love the original Prancer movie so was shocked there was a new one and wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it or not. But I actually did, there were parts I didn’t like but mostly I did really like it. It was very sweetly made, it had lots of heart and I loved Gloria and her Grandpa.

Gloria and her grandpa have this wonderful connection, Both are lonely and miserable, her dad didn’t want to know her, he lost his wife and was about to lose his store. Together with Prancer though they found a way to bond and connect and save his store. I really loved that Prancer was the glue that connected the two together ending their sadness.

I really didn’t like the son, he was honestly so cruel trying to send his dad away and not even considering how his dad felt. He was selfish and unfeeling practically the whole movie it was not nice at all. He could have had a bit more care towards his father and his feelings. He does get some character progression thankfully, but still was really sad how he treated the dad.

I loved that everyone got together to help make it magical and special and to save his store, to save Prancer too. They all eventually started to believe and understand what he wanted and what the two were up too wasn’t a bad thing at all. They were trying to share magic and get everyone to see it.

This was honestly so beautiful and had so much heart and was Christmassy and magical. I recommend this one, you’ll love the connecteion they have together and Prancer is magical as always. Such a sweet new addition to the Prancer movie series.
