Review: Emerald and her step sister Delphina go on a daring adventure into unknown sea to find the rare sea sprites. After meeting and playing with them they get followed and bring them home to play in the dolls house, but the next morning the sprites don’t seem quite like themselves.

This was so adorable I loved how different the two girls were In both their mer-design and in personality, they made a great match due to that. Their adventure together was so fun, neither one got scared of where they were headed. I loved the little sea sprites, so full of personality and adorableness. But was glad when the girls did the right thing and helped them be where they belonged.

The illustrations were incredible and the shade of green used is so stunning, I loved seeing all the various styles of mermaids, both the selkie style and traditional style and mixes of both it’s so great looking at all the illustrations on each page. All the creatures were adorably created.

I really loved this book so much, if you ever enjoyed Isadora and/or Mirabelle then you really would love Emerald she’s so precious as is her step sister Delphina, such great characters created in this series.
