Review: Another fun, book In the Mina Mistry series, this time her case is to solve what is going on with all the pets in town, they are all vanishing and she is determined to find them and solve the mystery.
I think I loved this one way more than the first one, the story line was so much more fun, Mina and Holly were not as rude or mean to each other, the mystery wasn’t as easy to solve and they had additional friends to help with the case.
These books are really whimsical and odd but are always interesting and fun, I still love the way it is designed with bigger writing sections, log book pages, illustrations all over, it makes it so easy to read and also perfect for young readers as the layout is much more simple than a generic chapter book.
I loved that they went into the make up factories using animals as test subjects and how determined it made Holly to prove that everyone was wrong. All while animals were magically disappearing before everyone’s eyes and just after a schools animal show and tell too. Mina had her hands on a really tough case to crack.
I really enjoyed reading this one and loved the extra characters that were helping solve this particular case. These books are always fun and funny and unique but entertaining from the very start, you aren’t done until Mina Mistry has solved the case.
I am looking forward to reading the third book in this series that was advertised at the back, I’m so sure that mystery will be so fun to solve too.
