Review:

A beautiful tale of grief and magic coinciding. It was very sad but also very beautiful.

I really liked the way they dealt with Keegan’s grief though I found it short it was done well as he was shown to be struggling when the world around him just carried on. It made it a physical thing for him to see and learn about with help of Moya.

I really loved the beautiful majestic Irish elk wow the detail in their antlers and the dancing scene was breath taking and even the hurdling scene was also so beautifully animated it was incredible. Was just absolutely stunning, the whole effect of these was incredible.

I really loved the smaller storyline with the frogs missing their one babies and travelling to find it on the whole journey with Keegan and Moya it was really funny and cute, gave a slightly easier storyline to go with it as they were funny characters. I also loved all the funny beautiful animals you saw constantly in the rivers they were all so pretty.

All the dancing in this movie was just so incredible, Irish dancing is always so beautiful anyway, so intense and so hard to do, but my gosh is it beautiful to watch. I’m so shocked that they were able to animate it this way and capture the beauty of it all so naturally, so beautifully it was just stunning. The whole sounds of it as well were incredible, they captured it perfectly.

I really loved this movie, it’s a good story of grief, friendship and saving magic even when you feel it’s all lost. I will warn it has a few scary scenes that may upset people and little children, but it’s still honestly so beautiful and so well made, you’ll love watching this movie, I caerialy did.
