Review: Ethan and Matt receive a request from Lisa whose zoo is struggling, the animals are going crazy and she doesn’t know why or who is doing it, she needs to help save them but she knows with their help they will figure it out and get to the bottom of it all.
This was way better than the first book in the series. I loved that the animals were realistically written and how important they really were to Lisa. I Loved the whole mystery of this one solving what was going on and how to end it to protect the animals. It was exciting from start to finish.
I’m still not personally a fan of Ethan and Matt, I just don’t care for them as characters and they don’t come across genuine to me, nor do I overly get the best friend vibes from them at all. That’s just me and my perception of them but it doesn’t stop the story from being exciting. Lisa was a great character and addition to the story she truly loved those animals like her best friends and had the upmost love and care for them. The animals seemed to respect her too because of that.
I loved that the animals having escaped made the story so much better and more entertains and exciting each one was scary and strong but made it very fascinating and added so much anticipating as to what was going to happen next with them all.
I really enjoyed reading this one, it’s a great mystery adventure book that I think kids will really enjoy reading, the animals are exciting, the mystery is so fun to solve and it’s a really thrilling book to read.
